About the solution: SeelCap® ONEGO, the first Home Compost biodegradable tamper evident seal

SEELCAP® ONEGO is an original and proprietary tamper-evident concept, consisting of two distinct but inseparable parts: one guaranteeing tamper-evidence, the other offering easy opening in a single gesture thanks to a gripping tab.

By integrating CARBIOS Active technology developed by CARBIOS directly into the core of the material, SEELCAP® ONEGO disintegrates itself completely in less than 6 months under composting conditions, even at room temperature (innovation undergoing TüV Austria “OK Compost Home” certification).

SEELCAP® ONEGO is an innovation that meets the safety requirements of sectors such as wines and spirits, and represents an ecological solution for packaging with no dedicated recycling channel.

This innovation won an award in the “Converting to Active Materials” category at the Oscars de l’Emballage 2024.
